Ground Rules of the Diet:
Start eating early :
Ensure that your first food is down your pipe within 45 minutes of waking up. Early morning the body is in a fat burning mode when you provide it with food else it still thinks it is night and works towards storage of fat.
Sleep after three hours of having dinner:
Give your body the chance to digest the food first before going to sleep. Otherwise during sleep it will store more fats than it would have had it digested your dinner properly.
Eat more often:
Eating every 3-4 hours will keep the body at its fat burning best. This is because it will ensure that the previous intake was used up and digested before the next.
Consume proper serving:
Best way to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle is to eat moderately. So if you love something don’t over indulge and find ways to eat smaller servings because they will not add too much and will keep your endorphins flowing as well keeping your happy and content. Being depressed adds to stress and makes the weight loss process difficult. So if you love ice cream opt for a smaller serving once in a while instead of cutting it off completely.

Drinking lots of water:
Flushing out toxins are a major way of reversing any harms caused by anything we eat so drink lots of plain water as there is not healthier diet alternative to water.
A 1400 Calorie Day:
Take about 6 ounces of Greek yogurt to museli and a handful of berries and almonds, drizzled with honey and cinnamon.
Take a handful of romaine with about a cup of chopped onions, tomatoes and cucumber. Now serve with a 3 ounce smoked salmon and a spoonful of feta cheese. Drizzle with a light olive oil based dressing.
Take three parts of cooked quinoa with one part of diced celery and tomatoes. Add onion, parsley and mint with olive oil and lemon dressing and simple salt and pepper seasoning.

Snacks between Meals:
- 1/2 banana or peach,
- 3/4 cup mixed berries
- 1 cup sour yogurt.
- 1 tbsp honey
Mix all the ingredients into a blender and obtain a thick consistency. Serve it with a handful of almonds for a filling snack between meals.
